Binding mounting

How much does the binding assembly cost?
NOTHING! The binding assembly is always included in the price. Of course you can also select "not mounted".

How long does the assembly take?
If binding and ski are in stock, the delivery will not be delayed by the assembly.

Is the binding set?
NO! From our side, only a PRESET is made! We recommend that the Z-value of the binding be set by a specialist store on the setting device before use, so that it is triggered correctly in the event of a fall.

We need the sole length of your ski boots for binding installation. Where is this located?
Almost all manufacturers indicate the length of the ski boots in millimeters (XXXmm) on the side or bottom of the sole. Otherwise, please measure. Please note: Do not confuse with Mondopoint sizing!

What is the effect of the mounting point of the binding on the ski?
On practically every ski there is a specified mounting point, which is usually oriented to the center of the ski boot. Especially for Park & Pipe and Freeride skis, however, the binding can also be mounted further forward or backward. In this case, it should be noted: If the binding is mounted further forward, the turning ability of the skis increases. Turning becomes more dynamic.

A mounting point behind the marked point, on the other hand, makes the ski smoother running at high speed and offers advantages in powder.

How is the assembly performed?
Our experienced ski fitters perform the assembly.

Special mounting points and what they mean:
When you place your order, you can choose from the mounting points listed below:

Information on the various mounting points for freeskiing

● Mounting point "Park & Pipe" (manufacturer recommendation).
We mount the binding according to the recommendation for "Park & Pipe" of the respective ski manufacturer. If not available, then ski center.

● Mounting point "Center
If not specified by the manufacturer, then we mount the binding with the center of the boot halfway between the tip of the ski and the end of the ski.

● Mounting point "Allround" (manufacturer's recommendation)
We mount the binding on the "Recommended / Team/Factory - mounting point". This is located between "Park & Pipe" and "Freeride". For riders who want to ride / land with their freeride ski also sometimes "switch".

● Mounting point "Freeride" (manufacturer recommendation).
We mount the binding on the last possible mounting point ski manufacturer in the direction of the end of the ski.

● Mounting point for the " Freeride Shizo " (Marker Shizo binding).
We mount their Marker Shizo so that the adjustment range of the binding from the freeride mounting point of the ski manufacturer 60mm forward towards the center of the ski.

Of course, you can give us a personal assembly request in the text field "Assembly individual".

● Mounting point for the " Park & Pipe Shizo " (Marker Shizo binding).
We mount their Marker Shizo so that the adjustment range of the binding from the Park & Pipe mounting point of the ski manufacturer (or from the center of the ski) 60mm back towards the end of the ski.

Of course, you can give us a personal assembly request in the text field "Assembly individual".

● Individual mounting point

In the text field "individual mounting" you have the possibility to tell us your personal mounting request. It is best to indicate your wish as follows: e.g.

Ski center +1 cm (this would be 1 cm in front of the ski center in the direction of the ski tip)
Ski center - 3 cm (this would be 3 cm behind the center of the ski in the direction of the end of the ski).

Explanations:

Z-Value

A DIN value according to ISO standard 11088 is the release value for ski bindings.
The parameters body weight, height, age, ski boot sole length and skier type are decisive for the determination.
